Technical Leader

Role Description

Lead the design and development of cloud-native FinOps services, including:

Cost ingestion pipelines from AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, Databricks, Snowflake and others

Cost allocation and tagging pipelines

Optimization and recommendations engine

Budgeting, forecasting, anomaly detection

Define and enforce engineering best practices in performance, security, observabilityand scalability

Work with PM and Design to translate requirements into technical specs and delivery plans

Guide and mentor 6-10 engineers (code reviews, architecture sessions, agile rituals)

Lead the AI/ML team to productionize intelligent optimization models

Own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and reliability of backend services

Drive PoCs for integrating third-party APIs (e.g., cloud billing APIs, Slack, Jira, ServiceNow)

Contribute hands-on code when needed

Participate in the customer PoCs and support new customer Onboarding

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience; 2+ years in a technical leadership role

Expertise in Node.js, Python, React, ClickHouse with strong system design skills

Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) especially billing APIs

Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend design

Familiarity with FinOps concepts: cost tagging, RI/SP, anomaly detection, chargeback

Strong grasp of PostgreSQL / Timescale DB, message queues (RabbitMQ)

Experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD preferred)

Passion for data-driven optimization, SaaS platforms, and clean architecture
