The Apparel development Leader will be responsible for managing the end-to-end apparel
product development process, leading a small team, and collaborating with cross-functional
partners across regions to bring seasonal collections to market. Your ability to balance creativity,
technical expertise, and timeline management will be key in delivering high-quality products that
meet both performance and brand standards.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reports directly to the Development and Pattern Team Lead based in Seon, Switzerland.
- Responsible for managing and mentoring the MASO development team based in Ho Chi Minh City, consisting of three team members.
- Manage day-to-day team coordination, task allocation, and project tracking
- Responsible for product development lifecycle from concept to production, translating design sketches into market-ready products. This involves managing prototype creation, sample evaluations, and refinements to ensure each style meets aesthetic, fit, and functional

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Design, Pattern, Materials, and Product Management across regions.
- Coordinates and communicates effectively with Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors to ensure development feasibility, technical accuracy, and on time delivery.
- Develops and enforces best practices in the product development process to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality assurance.
- Lead and manage development projects across multiple product categories, ensuring consistency in execution and documentation.
- Develop products according to briefing requirements, ensuring adherence to cost and margin targets.
- Plans and tracks development timelines across all assigned styles, ensuring timely completion
- and readiness for production handover.
- Ensures clear communication and progress reporting between the MASO team and Seon HQ, identifying and addressing risks early.
- Supports continuous improvement by contributing to the refinement of tools, processes, and ways of working within the development team.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or bachelors degree in Textile, Clothing Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 710 years of experience in apparel product development, technical design, or production coordination.
- Background in sportswear or fashion apparel preferred.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid technical knowledge of apparel development, fit, and functional requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and PLM systems (preferably FlexPLM); skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Browzwear/Vstitcher is a plus
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
