Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Leadership
- Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems for MaiMoneys fintech platform, including core fund modules.
- Define and enforce software engineering best practices, code quality standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the engineering team, conducting code reviews and design discussions.
2. System Architecture & Scalability
- Architect secure and high-performance fund transaction APIs (open account, list funds, buy/sell funds).
- Plan for system scalability to handle growing user base and transaction volume.
- Ensure seamless integration between MaiMoneys core fund services and external platforms (banks, exchanges, payment gateways).
3. Project Delivery & Quality
- Own the technical roadmap for the backend and core fund system.
- Work closely with DevOps to ensure CI/CD, automated testing, and reliable deployment.
- Manage timelines, prioritize development tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
4. Security & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and data protection standards.
- Implement best practices for authentication, authorization, and secure data handling.

Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Backend Engineer, or similar role in fintech, banking, or high-transaction systems.
- Strong expertise in Golang (our core backend language).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Knowledge of financial transaction workflows and integration with third-party payment/fund services is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance technical excellence with business priorities.
