Our client is a Singapore-based EdTech startup operating in the international education and study-abroad consulting space. The company is building a technology-enabled platform to modernize how students access overseas education opportunities, combining digital tools with high-touch advisory services.
Responsibilities
- Own the full-cycle talent acquisition process across Vietnam and Southeast Asia, reporting directly to the CEO.
- Proactively source, engage, and close high-quality candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines without reliance on employer brand recognition.
- Drive fast hiring cycles, moving candidates from first outreach to offer within weeks.
- Partner closely with the CEO to design, test, and continuously refine recruiting strategies and processes.
- Document effective hiring practices into scalable, repeatable playbooks.
- Analyze rejections and hiring failures to extract insights and improve future outcomes.
- Support the development of scalable recruiting systems, tools, and workflows over time.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in headhunting and/or internal recruitment, ideally with exposure to both agency and in-house hiring models.
- Strong startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, limited resources, and building processes from scratch.
- Highly resourceful and able to operate effectively under pressure and tight timelines.
- Comfortable experimenting, iterating quickly, and learning from failures.
- Confident in pushing back and challenging hiring requirements when needed, while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong candidate sourcing, outreach, and communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Solid data discipline with good CRM hygiene and pipeline management.
- International exposure or cross-border hiring experience is a plus.
