This isn't your typical HR internship. It's an opportunity to learn how to run a recruitment operation like a business.
As we expand our Recruitment & Workforce Solutions business, we're looking for a driven, resourceful, and commercially minded intern to support a large-scale recruitment project for one of Vietnam's leading consumer finance companies with the requirements:
- Qualified agents, on time: the right volume, in the right places, when the sales teams need them.
- Transparent numbers: a clear view of the funnel every day, not a surprise at month-end.
- Hires that stick: candidates who pass probation and perform, not just fill seats.
You'll work at the intersection of Talent Acquisition, Project Management, Data Analytics, and Commercial Operations, gaining hands-on experience managing a high-volume recruitment pipeline, coordinating stakeholders, and delivering measurable hiring outcomes.
This isn't a coordinator role. You own the plan, the dashboard and the result: coordinating a small pod of recruiting and screening interns, working directly with client stakeholders, and being accountable for hires delivered, not activities completed.
SCOPE OF WORKA. Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Own the project plan end to end: milestones, weekly sprint goals, RACI, risk and issue log, and a daily rhythm (stand-up, mid-day check, end-of-day wrap).
- Be the day-to-day contact for the client's Talent Acquisition and sales stakeholders: align on requirements, hiring criteria, SLAs and feedback loops. Run the weekly status review with a one-page update (progress vs target, risks, asks).
- Lead the hiring pod: set daily targets by channel and region, brief and coach sourcers, screeners and interviewers, QA their work, and keep energy high through peak weeks.
- Raise risks early, always with options. If the funnel is behind, show where it leaks and what you will do about it.
- Manage scope and expectations: yes, and here is the trade-off rather than yes to everything.
- Design, build and run the Hiring Operations dashboard (Google Sheets / Looker Studio or equivalent): a live funnel from sourced, applied, screened, interviewed, offered and onboarded to 30-day retained, cut by channel, region, recruiter and agent type.
- Keep one source of truth: a candidate tracker with clean data standards, status definitions, duplicate checks and an audit trail. Publish the daily report.
- Track and improve the numbers that matter: stage conversion, interview show-up rate, time-to-hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance, drop-off reasons and early attrition.
- Automate the repetitive: templates, scheduling, reminders and bulk messaging (Zalo / SMS / email). Where the client allows, pilot Edtronaut's own Hiring Mode, AI CV Scoring and AI Interview to screen at scale.
- Run a weekly funnel clinic: find the biggest leak, test one fix, measure the result.
- Build and optimize the channel mix for mass-market sales talent (job boards, Facebook / Zalo groups, universities and vocational schools, referrals, walk-in and mass-interview days). Double down on the channels with the best cost per qualified hire.
- Turn the client's requirements into a structured screening kit: knock-out criteria, phone-screen script, interview guide and scorecard, plus calibration sessions so the whole pod scores consistently.
- Run or oversee first-round screening calls and interviews. Manage scheduling and follow-ups so no good candidate goes cold.
- Deliver a fast, respectful, honest candidate experience: response SLAs, reminders, no-show recovery, and clear expectations about the role and earnings.
- Protect candidate data and fairness: obtain consent, keep data confidential in line with Vietnam's personal data protection rules, and apply the same criteria to everyone.
- Own the target: hires delivered, quality of hire (probation pass / 30-day retention) and cost, not just activity.
- Think like a business owner: unit economics per hire, a pace-to-target forecast, and where the next hour and the next dong should go.
- Earn your performance incentive: milestones and payout rules are agreed upfront and tracked transparently on the dashboard.
- Capture the playbook: turn what works into a repeatable mass-hiring playbook (templates, benchmarks, channel learnings) that Edtronaut can reuse for other high-volume hiring clients.
- Participate in other assignments and projects aligned with the founding team's objectives to drive client and business growth.
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial doer who enjoys working with people, data, and processes, and is motivated by delivering results.
Must-Have Qualities
- Operational Excellence: Highly organized, meticulous, and capable of managing multiple tasks and details.
- Project Management: Strong planning, coordination, prioritization, and follow-through.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Commercial Mindset: Results-driven, motivated by targets, and eager to understand business performance.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Confident, professional, and comfortable engaging candidates and external stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial & Growth Mindset: Resourceful, proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn by doing.
Basic Requirements
- University student or recent graduate in Business, HR, Management, Marketing, Economics, or related disciplines.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; data analytics; excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and working English.
- Prior experience in recruitment, interviewing, sales, project management, or student leadership is a strong advantage.
At Edtronaut, internships are designed to accelerate your professional growth through real ownership, hands-on execution, and measurable business impact.
- Real Business Ownership: Work on a large-scale enterprise hiring project with real targets and outcomes.
- End-to-End Recruitment Exposure: Develop practical skills in sourcing, interviewing, candidate management, and placement.
- Project Management & Data Analytics: Learn to build dashboards, manage workflows, and make data-driven decisions.
- Commercial & Entrepreneurial Skills: Understand recruitment economics, conversion optimization, and performance management.
- Leadership Development: Opportunity to take on Project Lead responsibilities based on demonstrated capabilities.
- Mentorship & Startup Exposure: Work directly with Edtronaut's founding team, bringing extensive experience across leading global Consumer, Technology, and B2B organizations.
- Performance Rewards: Internship allowance, performance-based incentives, and potential career development opportunities.
