Technical Support and User Assistance
- Provide support for software applications within the organization and to external suppliers when required.
- Communicate with users to understand their issues and offer clear instructions or guidance.
- Prepare documentation such as standard operating procedures, job aids, and support procedures.
- Train users on application functionality and recommended practices.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified through monitoring.
- Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions, which may include code debugging and system adjustments.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or development teams as necessary.
Monitoring, Maintenance and Collaboration
- Manage and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability; apply best practices for performance enhancement.
- Monitor application performance to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to support optimal application performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with headquarters, infrastructure team and other teams to resolve complex issues, implement effective solutions, and enhance system efficiency; engage proactively with users and stakeholders to share updates and gather insights.
Other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Application Development is a must.
- At least 5 years of working experience in system development.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP Ariba is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server database is required.
- Familiarity with scripting languages or automation tools such as MS Access, VBA, or VBScript is advantageous.
- Understanding of Gupta Team Developer (Centura) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem solving, and project management abilities to bridge IT and business teams.
- Capability to work independently in a flexible and dynamic environment.
