Supply Chain Manager - Your future position

Overall objective of the job

To lead and optimize site-level Supply Planning operations in Vietnam, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality customer service that balances cost and service excellence. The role shapes and implements the local supply chain strategy in alignment with regional objectives, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a high-performance team culture to meet safety, service, quality, and cost targets.

You will be based in Binh Duong, Vietnam & will report to the Head of Operations ASEAN (SG & VN).

Leadership & Strategic Alignment

  • Lead the deployment of regional Supply Planning programs within the site to improve cost efficiency and customer service quality.
  • Provide supply planning inputs into regional operations business plans and contribute to the development of the site's supply chain strategy.
  • Implement the Supply Planning strategy locally, including capacity modeling and leveling.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure that site Supply Planning operations consistently achieve or exceed safety, service, quality, and cost requirements.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor programs to improve service levels and cost performance.
  • Lead change initiatives resulting from continuous improvement and supply chain development projects.
  • Monitor service levels to achieve customer satisfaction and lead actions associated with the country's S&OP processes.
  • Analyze market trends and service/cost evolution to inform decision-making within Supply Planning.

People Development & Culture

  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture within the Supply Chain team in Vietnam.
  • Deploy training programs to build Supply Planning capabilities.

Your professional profile includes

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in relevant field (with 2-3 years in a people manager role).
  • Prior experience working in an MNC environment from flavours/ingredients manufacturing, food or chemicals manufacturing/FMCG industries.
  • Expertise in supply planning in raw materials & finished goods.
  • Experience with ERP system(s) and SAP is desirable.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional/Certified in Planning and Inventory Management is helpful.
  • Proficient in English and the local language in both Writing and Speaking skills.
  • Performance driven as well as having the ability to drive and lead change and efficiency initiatives.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma and SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership skills, possess growth mindset, driven and problem solving capability.
