Who We Are
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring that suppliers consistently provide materials, components, and services that meet company quality, regulatory, and customer requirements. The
SQE acts as the primary quality interface between the company and suppliers, driving supplier development, quality improvement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and quality business reviews.
Support sourcing and procurement teams in supplier selection activities. Approve suppliers for new product introductions and critical components.
Support Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
Analyze incoming defect trends and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure incoming materials conform to quality and reliability requirements
Ensure proper validation and qualification activities are completed before implementation.

- Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This site will manufacture advanced products including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

SQE acts as the primary quality interface between the company and suppliers, driving supplier development, quality improvement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement activities to support manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage supplier quality performance through established KPIs.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and quality business reviews.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers according to company procedures.
Support sourcing and procurement teams in supplier selection activities. Approve suppliers for new product introductions and critical components.
- Plan and conduct: Process Audits, System Audits, Product Audits
- Establish incoming inspection requirements and control plans.
Support Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
Analyze incoming defect trends and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure incoming materials conform to quality and reliability requirements
- Lead investigations of supplier-related quality issues.
- Participate in NPI and product transfer projects.
- Evaluate supplier process changes and engineering changes.
Ensure proper validation and qualification activities are completed before implementation.
- Clearly understand self's and section's goals to make contribution to obtain quality and delivery goals.
- Be accountable for the compliance to rules, procedures and requirement in terms of:
- 7S & KAIZEN
- Environmental Health Safety
- RBA & Social Responsibility
- Protection of company assets
- Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION: College
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Development.
