Structural Packaging Engineer

Working Location:

1. Assistant Supervisor level: SHTP Factory. Shuttle bus from District 1, 7, 10, Go Vap, Binh Thanh/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.
2. Engineer level: Cu Chi Factory. Shuttle bus from District 1, 10,11,12,Hoc Mon, Binh Thanh, Thu Duc/Binh Duong/Dong Nai is available.

JOB SUMMARY

Create and maintain the Packaging BOM, issue SER and packing method documents, and ensure proper documentation control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

1. Develop packaging plans and coordinate tasks in a systematic manner.
2. Monitor work progress and make necessary adjustments to minimize design deviations.
3. Coordinate with Engineering and QA to complete cross-functional tasks.
4. Work with Marketing, Development partners, and Operational teams worldwide to develop cost-effective packaging solutions that ensure end-user satisfaction and manufacturing efficiency.
5. Meet milestones for packaging design development, qualification, and flawless program execution.
6. Collaborate with testing partners to meet or exceed packaging targets in design, cost, quality, and schedule.
7. Support cost reduction initiatives through optimization of packaging design, materials, assembly, and logistics.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Design or equivalent.

Experience

• Fresher or 1-4 years of relevant experience in packaging structure design.

Knowledge

• Proficient in 3D CAD operations and model making.
• Creative and self-motivated.
• Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently.

Functional Skills

1. Develop cost-effective packaging solutions in collaboration with marketing, development partners, and operational teams worldwide.
2. Manage packaging design development milestones and ensure successful qualification and program execution.
3. Work with testing partners to achieve targets related to design, cost, quality, and schedule.
4. Drive cost reduction initiatives through improvements in packaging design, materials, assembly, and logistics.
