Job Description:

The SSD and Memory Test Leader provide strategic and operational leadership for the test team, establishing comprehensive test strategies for SSD and memory products. The role emphasizes high-volume production testing, yield optimization, and rigorous failure analysis to ensure superior product quality

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning: Create comprehensive verification and validation plans for Solid State Drives (SSDs), NAND flash, and memory controllers.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of validation/test engineers and technicians within the storage domain.
Test Automation & Execution: Oversee test content development, test automation framework creation, and regression testing using programming tools like Python.
Failure Analysis & Debugging: Perform root-cause analysis on complex NAND, firmware, and system-level failures, triaging bugs and coordinating fixes with design teams.
Cross-Functional Communication: Report on test progress, product quality status, and mitigation plan to management and cross-functional engineering groups.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
6-10 years of relevant experience in storage-domain testing, embedded firmware development, high-volume manufacturing test, or test-team leadership.
Strong proficiency in Python and other programming or scripting languages used for test automation, data analysis, and debugging, with working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
Demonstrated success leading technical teams and cross-functional investigations involving complex product, firmware, manufacturing, or reliability issues.

Requirements & Qualifications/Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in storage domain testing, embedded firmware development, or test team management.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages (especially Python) and familiarity with Linux/Windows environments.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of non-volatile memory (NAND, DRAM) and storage interfaces/protocols such as PCIe, NVMe, SATA, or SAS.
