Sr Assoc, Product Technical Specialist

Job Purpose

Develop and secure Carrier product specifications through early engagement with consultants, developers and key project stakeholders to maximize project conversion and market share.

Key Responsibilities

Consultant Coverage

• Develop relationships with M&E consultants, design institutes and project design teams.
• Promote Carrier technologies and solutions through technical presentations and seminars.
• Establish Carrier as a preferred specification brand.
  
  

Project Identification

• Track projects from Concept and Design stages.
• Identify opportunities before tender phase.
• Build and maintain project visibility and market intelligence.
  
  

Technical Support

• Provide technical support and product selection guidance.
• Assist consultants in system optimization and equipment selection.
• Support preparation of technical submissions and compliance documents.
  
  

Specification Management

• Secure Carrier inclusion in project specifications.
• Monitor specification status and competitor positioning.
• Coordinate transition of specified projects to sales pursuit stage.
  
  

Market Development

• Organize technical seminars and consultant workshops.
• Support marketing initiatives and technical promotion activities.
• Maintain consultant database and engagement plans.
  
  

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or related discipline.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC design, consulting, application engineering or technical sales.
  
  

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of chilled water systems and HVAC applications.
• Presentation and influencing skills.
• Relationship-building capability.
• Good English communication skills.
