We have a potential requirement for Database Administrators with 8+ years of experience to support customers.The role involves advanced (Level 2 and above) support for enterprise database environments, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL. Consultants must be German-speaking and comfortable working in customer-facing roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 8+ years) production support for MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases
- Handle complex incidents, root cause analysis, and performance issues
- Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching of databases
- Manage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization
- Ensure database security, compliance, and access controls
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams
- Participate in change management, problem management, and on-call support
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior DBAs (L1)
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (L2+)
- Strong expertise in MSSQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL
- Proven experience supporting mission-critical production systems
- Strong knowledge of HA/DR, performance tuning, and backup strategies
- Fluent German (spoken and written) mandatory
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
