About the Role

An exciting opportunity for Software Engineer has been available for those who are passionate about developing applications using the C/C++ or Java programming language. Your primary role will be designing, developing, and maintaining C/C++ or Java -based applications. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality products is essential.

Responsibilities

• Write design/implementation documentation
• Develop and maintain software applications written in C
• Write efficient and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, QA testers, and product managers.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide fixes and solutions.
• Pilot new tools/technology.
• Adheres to strict delivery schedules.
• Reports to Project Manager or assigned people manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in a C/C++ or Java development environment.
• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N3 (or above) is required, proficiency in English is a plus.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of C/C++ or Java programming language and experience with related tools (compilers, debuggers, etc.).
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and continuous integration and deployment tools.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
• Ability to quickly research new technologies
• Work as part of a team, including the ability to develop new working relationships, share knowledge and work with colleagues within the team to meet service standards
• Ability to work independently and proactively are needed.
• Good command of English communication (oral and written)

Preferred Skills

• Priority will be given to those who have experience in international software development projects.
