ROLE PURPOSE

This role is responsible for developing, producing, and managing social content for Maison Marou & Marou Faiseurs de Chocolat across all digital channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Website, Newsletter.

This role requires deep brand understanding, visual excellence and cross-team collaboration to ensure high audience engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1. Social Content Creation & Management

  • Develop and manage the monthly social media content plan for both brands, aligned with brand direction and campaign objectives.
  • Develop content angles and copywriting/visuals for Facebook/Instagram posts, stories, reels, website articles, weekly newsletter and other social media advertising campaigns that align with brand direction and campaign objectives
  • Stay current with social media trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure content performance.

2. Campaign Support & Cross-team Collaboration

  • Ideate and develop content directions for campaigns, collaborations, and seasonal launches.
  • Work closely with the Creative team to align visuals, art direction, and storytelling across channels.
  • Support overall brand communication efforts by suggesting content opportunities and new creative formats.

3. Social Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor, track, and analyse the performance of social media content (engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic, sentiment, etc.).
  • Generate monthly performance reports with actionable insights and learnings.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and propose content or strategy optimizations based on data.
  • Keep up to date with platform algorithm changes, competitor performance, and social trends relevant to Marou.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Design, or related fields.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in Social Media or Content Creation.
  • Strong understanding of Facebook & Instagram platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to produce visual content (shooting, directing small-scale shoots, basic editing).
  • Ability to operate basic shooting equipment (Smartphone, camera bodies, lenses, tripod, etc.).
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • English: proficiency in English

PREFERABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to edit videos for reels and short-form social content.
  • Copywriting skills, especially in crafting social captions and storytelling.
  • Experience working with production agencies or managing photo/video shoots.
  • Knowledge of chocolate, F&B, or premium lifestyle brands is a plus.

Working time: Monday - Friday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Working location: Green Building, 160 Street B2, An Loi Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC.
