Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, service-oriented Wine ShopEmployee to join our team. This role combines customer service and shop sales with administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet and assist customers, offering tailored wine recommendations.
- Share knowledge about wine origins, grape varieties, and food pairings.
- Handle in-store sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in organizing and hosting wine tastings and events.
- Ensure shop displays are well-presented and stocked.
- Answer and manage phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
Shop Operations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Receive and store deliveries properly.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop and storage areas.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for deliveries.
- Support the accounting team with simple data entry when required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Fluent in English (essential), both spoken and written.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, (wine industry experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word) software is a plus.
- Interest in wine and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive.
