Role Description This full-time, on-site Service Engineer role is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Service Engineer will install, maintain, and repair Mettler-Toledo instruments and systems at customer locations, ensuring reliable operation and optimal performance. Daily tasks include conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical support and training to customers and internal teams. The role involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, and collaborating with sales and service colleagues to address customer needs. The Service Engineer will adhere to safety standards and company guidelines while representing Mettler-Toledo in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Field Service experience to support on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and collaborate with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to guide users and provide clear solutions to instrument-related problems.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to service precision instruments safely and accurately.
• Relevant technical education in engineering, electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with laboratory or industrial equipment, weighing systems, or analytical instruments is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical documentation, follow procedures, and use diagnostic tools and software.
• Willingness to travel locally for customer visits and flexibility to respond to urgent service requests.
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken, is beneficial.
