At gbc engineers, we're expanding our Engineering Department in Ho Chi Minh City and we're looking for Senior Infrastructure Design Engineers to join our international team of urban infrastructure experts who specialize in designing roads, sewers, drainage, etc.

We specialize in structural design, BIM modeling, and project management for industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments across Europe. Combining German engineering precision with digital innovation and international collaboration, we deliver sustainable, high-quality design solutions for the built environment.

Position: Senior Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of roads, highways, drainage, sewerage, water supply, earthworks and utility networks.
• Perform and review detailed engineering calculations (hydraulic, hydrological, road, sewer and earthworks).
• Develop and optimize infrastructure designs using engineering tools and modelling software.
• Ensure technical compliance with relevant standards, codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal project teams.
• Support tendering, cost estimation and construction-related technical activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project delivery, timelines and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Infrastructure Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in civil or urban infrastructure projects, preferably in Europe.
• Strong technical expertise in roads, drainage, utilities and urban development.
• Solid experience in engineering calculations and design methodologies.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and provide technical leadership.
