Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test & Failure Analysis Engineer to provide technical leadership for SSD and memory products. This individual will independently lead complex problem-solving activities, strengthen engineering consistency, accelerate root cause identification, and improve overall product quality and reliability across the organization. The role serves as a key technical resource for Manufacturing, Quality, Test, and Product Engineering teams, driving technical investigations from issue identification through root-cause determination, corrective action, and product release decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define investigation strategies and lead root cause analysis of product, manufacturing, and reliability issues.

• Lead cross-functional engineering teams in planning, executing, and driving technical investigations to closure.

• Interpret test results, identify failure mechanisms, determine next steps, and drive data-based engineering decisions.

• Develop characterization, screening, and reliability test plans to improve product robustness and manufacturing effectiveness.

• Identify the most efficient path to isolate failures, prioritize resources, and challenge assumptions using engineering data and facts.

• Evaluate product risk and recommend containment, screening, corrective actions, and product disposition decisions.

• Establish and promote disciplined engineering problem-solving methodologies and best practices.

• Mentor engineers and strengthen the organization's technical troubleshooting and failure analysis capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of experience in SSD, Storage, Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, Memory, or related industries.

• Strong background in failure analysis, root cause investigation, and reliability engineering.

• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional engineering teams on complex technical issues.
