About the Role
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for a social media professional with strong knowledge of financial services industry. You will be responsible for developing the local social media strategy, managing day-to-day execution, leading a social media team, and working closely with regional and global Marketing, Brand, Content, Performance, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Growth
• Develop and own social media strategy for the Vietnam market, aligned with regional and global brand and commercial objectives.
• Drive sustainable growth across relevant social platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.
• Build strategies to increase followers, engagement, reach, brand awareness, community growth, and qualified customer acquisition.
Content & Campaign Management
• Lead the development of locally relevant social content covering financial markets, trading education, market insights, product campaigns, brand initiatives, partnerships, and topical opportunities.
• Own the social content calendar and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across channels.
• Collaborate with creative, video, content, influencer/KOL, performance marketing, and other teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Maintain a strong understanding of platform trends and recommend new content formats and creative approaches.
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, coach, and develop the local social media team, setting clear objectives, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
• Manage workflows, priorities, and resources to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Build a high-performing team culture focused on creativity, accountability, experimentation, and measurable results.
• Work effectively with senior stakeholders across local, regional, and global teams.
Analytics & Performance
• Establish and monitor social media KPIs across reach, engagement, community growth, traffic, leads, and other relevant business outcomes.
• Analyse channel, content, and campaign performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Produce regular performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Use data, social listening, competitor intelligence, and audience insights to continuously improve the social strategy.
Governance & Compliance
• Partner closely with Compliance and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate review and approval of financial and trading-related content.
• Maintain strong governance processes while enabling the team to respond quickly to market and social trends.
Requirements
• Proven professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or content marketing within financial services.
• Financial industry experience is essential.
• Minimum 3+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated success leading and developing social media, content, or digital marketing teams.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing social media strategies that deliver measurable audience and business growth.
• Strong knowledge of major social platforms and their content formats, algorithms, audience behaviours, and analytics.
• Excellent understanding of the Vietnam social media landscape and local digital consumer behaviour, including
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn social and campaign data into clear recommendations.
• Experience working within regulated industries and collaborating with Compliance teams is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international and commercially focused environment.
• Strong Vietnamese-language capability and professional working proficiency in English.
