Job Description

The ideal candidate will prospect and close sales leads to help generate revenue for the company. They will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the sales strategy. They will have strong management and coaching skills to support the learning and development of the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product sales within the region by leading and managing a team of sales representatives to meet or surpass annual sales goals.
  • Perform regular field visits to monitor route coverage, assess competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities to boost regional sales.
  • Share information on new or enhanced products and services with distributors and customers to support sales growth within the region.
  • Build and sustain an effective distribution network to ensure wide availability of the companys products and services, aiming to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
  • Implement and oversee sales administration processes within the region to effectively support the sales team in reaching their targets.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to meet delivery timelines and provide excellent service to distributors and customers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to secure adequate merchandising and promotional support, enhancing brand presence and driving sales in the region.
  • Develop a strong regional sales management structure, ensuring the recruitment of qualified personnel and the provision of proper training. Offer leadership to keep the team motivated, engaged, and aligned with organizational goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, including at least 3 years in a similar managerial position
  • Bachelor&aposs degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline)
  • Business-level English communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in communication and negotiation
  • Highly responsible, honest and mature.
