About the job:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic #Project Director to provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and management for the successful delivery of this multi-billion dollar, large-scale #hydropower project. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with extensive experience in managing complex heavy civil and #energy #infrastructure projects from conception through to commissioning. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, as this role involves interfacing with high-level government officials, investors, joint venture partners, and local communities.
Qualification:
- A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in project management within the heavy civil construction or energy sector, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role (Project Director or Deputy Director) position.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering at least one full lifecycle large-scale hydropower project (dam, powerhouse, tunneling, electromechanical works) is essential.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing a complex web of stakeholders, including high-level government negotiations and managing investor/JV partner expectations.
- Extensive experience in working with #EGAT,#GOL,#MRC, PPA, Thai lender is most preferred.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-billion dollar project budgets and P&L.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven ability to work in international and culturally diverse environments, with experience in [Region, e.g., Southeast Asia] being a significant advantage.
