Senior Project Engineer

Role Description

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and key milestones.
• Create and update 2D factory layouts using AutoCAD, covering production lines, warehouses, storage areas, offices, and overall factory fit-out.
• Calculate and coordinate utility requirements, including electricity, compressed air, and other facility needs for production and non-production areas.
• Develop and maintain organization charts, SOPs, project documentation, and related databases for different departments.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, providing regular updates on construction activities, milestones, and overall project progress.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and other resources required for project implementation.
• Monitor project budget, timeline, and progress, proactively identifying risks and potential issues affecting cost or schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality, safety, technical standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, reports, documentation, and databases.
• Support other project-related activities and assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar role.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
• Experience with project scheduling/planning software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of factory layout, facilities, utilities, and project coordination.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
