The Product Owner, Partner Integration & API Products, manages how Home Credit Vietnam connects with digital partners such as MoMo, Viettel Money, e-wallets, and payment providers. This role works with external partners and internal teams to build secure, reliable, and easy-to-use APIs and SDKs. The Product Owner owns the integration roadmap, improves existing APIs, and supports digital lending, customer onboarding, partner sales, and payment journeys.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

API as a Product Roadmap: Own APIs as products across the full lifecycle, from discovery, design, documentation, versioning, release, adoption, performance monitoring, and retirement. Define and manage the 6-to-12-month roadmap for partner integrations and API products, ensuring APIs are well documented, easy for developers to use, secure, stable, and high performing.
Integration Delivery: Lead partner integrations from technical scoping to testing, launch, and post-launch support. Collaborate with external partners, merchants, fintech aggregators, and payment gateways to co-create frictionless lead transfer, loan application, scoring, approval, disbursement, and repayment journeys.
API Improvement and Architecture Review: Work with IT architecture and engineering teams to review current integrations. Identify issues, reduce complexity, and improve REST APIs, webhooks, and SDKs so they can scale and perform well.
Agile Delivery and Technical Definition: Turn partner requirements and business agreements into clear technical specifications, API contracts, data-sharing frameworks, Jira user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with IT, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Risk, and external engineering teams to define practical integration requirements.
Stakeholder and Project Management: Coordinate between external partners and internal teams. Manage dependencies across IT Development, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Compliance, Risk, and Digital Operations to keep launches on track.
E2E Testing and Production Deployment: Oversee end-to-end testing, sandbox integration, production readiness, go-live coordination, and smooth production deployments with external stakeholders, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and communicated clearly before launch.
Performance and Reliability: Define and monitor API service levels, speed, error rates, and completion rates. Use data to improve reliability and support strong transaction performance.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Integration Solutions Lead. Experience should include API or SDK integrations in FinTech, digital banking, payments, or high-volume e-commerce.
Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, microservices, JSON, OAuth2, mTLS, token management, and mobile SDK integration for Android and iOS.
API Lifecycle Management: Familiar with API lifecycle management practices, including API design standards, governance, documentation, version control, release management, developer onboarding, usage analytics, security controls, and continuous improvement after launch.
Lending Journey Understanding: Good understanding of the end-to-end lending journey, including lead generation, customer onboarding, loan application, eligibility checks, scoring, approval, contract signing, disbursement, repayment, and post-loan servicing. Able to connect technical integration work with business goals such as customer acquisition, faster disbursement, better conversion, retention, and lower operating cost.
Project Management Rigor: Proven track record running complex, multi-party integrations across internal squads and external 3rd-party engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies in Jira and Confluence.
Ownership & Initiative: Self-driven operator comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, proactively unblocking technical deadlocks, and solving partner friction.
Communication & Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Vietnamese, with the ability to bridge complex technical limitations into executive business impacts for C-level leadership.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

Prior experience collaborating directly with Vietnamese super-apps, payment intermediaries, or telecommunications financial rails (e.g., MoMo, VNPay, Viettel Money, ZaloPay).
Familiarity with local financial data governance, API security standards, and State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulatory guidelines regarding open interfaces and digital authentication.
Hands-on experience reading API contracts via Postman or Swagger, and analyzing telemetry dashboards via tools like Power BI, Looker Studio, or GA4.
