Senior Process Automation Engineer

Basic Function of the Job:

• Focus on the enhancement, optimization, and automation of measurement and testing

equipment

• Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational safety.

• Play a key part in improving accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of measurement systems within manufacturing and quality operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for measurement and testing equipment

• Analyze current measurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement in accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency

• Modify and upgrade existing test systems, fixtures, and measurement devices

• Develop and maintain control software (PLC, LabVIEW, Python, etc.) for automated measurement systems

• Integrate sensors, data acquisition systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in automation, electronic, mechatronic engineering or related field. Master's degree will be a plus

• At least 5 years with a Bachelor's degree/3 years with a Master's degree in similar role at international manufacturing company.

• Strong knowledge of measurement systems,sensors, and data acquisition

• Hands-on experience with PLC programming(Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) or automation software tools

• Familiarity with programming/scriptinglanguages such as Python, LabVIEW, C/C++,or similar

• Exposure to Industry 4.0, IoT, or smart factoryconcepts

• Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt orabove) is a plus

• Knowledge of robotics is a plus

• Experience with industrial communicationprotocols and control systems integration

• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, motioncontrol systems, and machine vision

• Understanding of MSA (Measurement SystemAnalysis), calibration, and quality standards ispreferred

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently with limitedsupervision and in cross-functional teams

• Good communication skills in English
