About the Role

In today's rapidly evolving legislative and regulatory environment, clients need practical, commercially focused legal support. PwC Legal Vietnam combines in-depth local market knowledge with the expertise and resources of the PwC global network.

Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our Legal Services team in Ho Chi Minh City. You will work on a broad range of corporate, commercial and foreign investment matters, including project structuring, legal documentation, contract negotiation, licensing and regulatory requirements, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide legal consulting and paralegal support to local and international clients on a wide range of Vietnamese legal matters, including:

• Corporate and foreign investment;
• Commercial contracts;
• Employment and labour;
• Real estate;
• Banking and finance; and
• Mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with the structuring, preparation, review and negotiation of legal documents and transaction materials.

- Advise clients on licensing, regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to their projects and operations.

- Manage or support the delivery of client engagements, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities to support existing clients and develop relationships with prospective clients.

- Supervise, coach and support junior team members, including contributing to their performance development and evaluations.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues across PwC's legal, tax, consulting and other professional services teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Law.
• At least three years of relevant experience in an international law firm, professional services firm or reputable Vietnamese law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnamese corporate, commercial and investment laws; experience in additional practice areas will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
