Senior NPI Technical Program Manager (Electronics Manufacturing)

1) You work in Mandarin Chinese and English at professional level, every day.

2) You have personally owned EVT / DVT / PVT builds in consumer electronics manufacturing, as the person accountable, not as a coordinator.

3) You are based in Vietnam, or you can be working on site in Bac Ninh within 60 days.

4) You are ready to spend most of your week on the production floor, five days a week, on site.

5) You read mechanical drawings, stack-ups and Cpk data yourself.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

Not an IT, software or infrastructure project management role.

Not remote and not hybrid.

Not a Scrum or Agile delivery role.

Not a role where you forward the customer schedule to the factory. You own the technical and cost assumptions behind it.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are standing up a new NPI organisation from zero, four departments and nine teams, taking this site beyond high volume consumer assembly into high mix, low volume, high precision module manufacturing to IPC Class 3. You would be among the first programme managers in, reporting directly to the Head of NPI.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Build plan and gate flow from EVT through DVT and PVT to mass production.

Daily build execution. Every issue carries a named owner and a deadline inside 24 hours.

Failure analysis cadence with test and quality engineering, and yield recovery.

Build readiness and post build exit reviews.

DFM feedback to the customer design team, with the cost and cycle time case attached.

WHAT WE NEED

8+ years in consumer electronics manufacturing NPI.

Mandarin Chinese and English, both at professional level. This site runs in Mandarin, Vietnamese and English every day. You will write to the customer in English and to the group in Chinese.

Hands on with drawings, stack up, Cpk and PFMEA.

Based in Vietnam, or ready to relocate to Bac Ninh.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience inside a Taiwanese, Japanese or Korean EMS or ODM environment.

Fixture and test equipment development exposure.

Vietnamese language.
