Senior Network System Engineer

The Senior Network System Engineer role maintains stable, secure, and high-quality IT environments for customers. Working on site in an international environment, the position handles complex technical incidents, supports junior engineers, and offers a pathway towards a Maintenance Team Leader position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stable, secure, and high-quality customer IT environments
• Handle complex incidents and conduct root cause analysis
• Support customers as a key technical contact
• Mentor junior engineers and improve maintenance procedures and documentation
• Coordinate team tasks and gradually assume responsibility for team management and quality control
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT maintenance and operations
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, Microsoft platforms, Microsoft Azure, virtualisation, storage, and backup solutions
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, Dell EMC, IBM, or Nutanix solutions
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
• Good English communication skills
• A reliable and proactive approach with leadership capabilities
• IT certifications and Japanese language skills will be an advantage
