The Role

We operate at the intersection of software, data, science, and human-centered design. Our designers play an important role in making complex ideas understandable, compelling, and accessible to customers, scientists, partners, and employees.

As a Senior Visual & Motion Designer, you will create high-quality visual, motion, and video content for DataXight and selected client projects, mainly for the US market.

Motion design will be a key part of this role. You will work across promotional videos, social media, product showcases, website content, internal communications, events, and other brand and marketing projects.

You will also create motion for digital products and interfaces, helping explain software features, workflows, and interactions in a clear and engaging way.

Working closely with the Art Director, you will turn creative direction and project goals into strong visual solutions. We are looking for someone who can work independently, explore ideas, and bring thoughtful solutions instead of waiting for detailed instructions.

What You'll Do

Motion and Video

• Create motion graphics and animations for promotional, social media, product, event, and internal videos.
• Create product and UI animations to show features, workflows, and interactions.
• Develop motion content for websites, product showcases, campaigns, and presentations.
• Edit videos using footage, motion graphics, typography, UI, music, and sound.
• Turn scripts, storyboards, static designs, and rough ideas into clear visual stories.
• Explore creative ways to communicate AI, data, science, software, and technology.
• Adapt videos and motion content for different platforms, formats, and aspect ratios.
  
  

Visual and Brand design

• Support brand and marketing design across social media, presentations, websites, campaigns, events, and other digital materials.
• Apply DataXight's visual identity consistently across static, motion, and video content.
• Turn complex scientific, technical, and business information into clear visual communication.
• Maintain a high standard of typography, composition, color, hierarchy, and visual quality.
  
  

Project Ownership and Collaboration

• Own assigned projects from brief and exploration to final delivery.
• Understand the purpose and communication problem behind each project.
• Research references, context, and requirements before developing solutions.
• Propose ideas and visual solutions instead of relying only on detailed instructions.
• Present and explain your design decisions clearly.
• Receive feedback openly and contribute your own professional point of view.
• Work closely with designers, marketers, product teams, engineers, scientists, and senior leaders.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience in motion, visual, multimedia, or graphic design.
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating motion design, video, and visual design work.
• Strong skills in motion graphics, animation, and video editing.
• Experience creating motion for digital products, UI, websites, or technology is highly valued.
• Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.
• Advanced proficiency in After Effects and Figma.
• Good working knowledge of Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing tools.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear and engaging visual stories.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Working proficiency in English.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in technology, healthcare, biotechnology, science, AI, or data-related industries.
• Experience with SaaS products, dashboards, AI platforms, or data visualization.
• Experience with 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
• Experience with interactive motion or tools such as Rive or Framer.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and new creative workflows.
• Basic sound design or audio editing skills.
