Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Here at Mindera, we are continuously developing a fantastic team, and would love for you to join us. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building fluid, responsive, and high-quality user interfaces across multiple platforms and devices.

We are looking for experienced Engineers with an appetite for solving complex problems, building seamless user interactions, and delivering world-class software.

National and international expected traveling time varies according to project/client and organisational needs: 0%-15% estimated.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality user interfaces for mobile and web platforms using React Native and Expo
• Implement features across iOS, Android, and Web using a shared codebase
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to translate designs into pixel-perfect, responsive implementations
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code following best practices and team standards
• Build reusable UI components following Atomic Design principles and contribute to scalable component architectures
• Implement state management and data-fetching solutions using technologies such as Redux Toolkit, React Query/TanStack Query, Apollo Client, React Context, and Zustand
• Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Implement mobile navigation patterns using React Navigation
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration test suites with strong coverage
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards
• Debug and troubleshoot React Native applications using appropriate React Native debugging and developer tools across physical devices and simulators
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance across iOS, Android, and Web
• Monitor and improve areas such as rendering performance, application responsiveness, memory usage, network requests, and bundle size
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve development practices and processes
• Work effectively in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
• Take ownership of technical challenges and work independently while contributing towards a common team and company purpose

Requirements

7-10 years of professional experience relevant to the role

Vast experience with JavaScript and TypeScript

Strong professional experience with React and React Native (0.76+)

Hands-on experience with Expo and cross-platform application development

Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client, as well as REST APIs and React Query/TanStack Query

Experience with state management solutions such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, and React Context

Experience with React Navigation and mobile navigation patterns

Strong understanding of responsive design across different device types and platforms

Experience applying Atomic Design principles and building reusable UI components

Strong experience with React Native debugging tools and techniques, including debugging on physical devices and simulators

Demonstrated experience with application performance optimization, including identifying and resolving rendering, memory, networking, and responsiveness bottlenecks

Experience with unit and integration testing, particularly with Jest

A Test-Driven Development (TDD) mindset

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

Proficiency with Git and version control workflows

Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban

A passion for building high-quality software, being self-driven, and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose

Benefits

The maximum monthly NET salary for this position is 90 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
