Senior Leisure Travel Planner

About the Role

As a Senior Leisure Travel Planner, you will be responsible for corresponding with agents, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with internal departments and business partners to ensure seamless reservations. You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, crafting personalized travel packages and ensuring every detail runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage incoming travel requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Design and prepare customized itineraries and holiday packages based on client preferences and budgets.
• Manage reservations for hotels, suppliers, restaurants, and all services included in itineraries.
• Ensure all travel arrangements, passenger details, and logistics are accurately updated in the operating system.
• Provide excellent communication and customer service throughout the planning process.
• Maximize revenue through up-selling and recommending tours and services.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage payments, deposits, and invoicing in collaboration with the Accounting Department.
• Achieve a high conversion rate from enquiries to bookings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or Languages (preferred).
• Strong command of written and spoken Vietnamese and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• In-depth destination and product knowledge of Vietnam.
• Previous experience in reservations, quotations, or travel consultancy.
• Experience with FIT and GIT reservations preferred.
• Familiarity with UK, USA, European, and Latin American markets is an advantage.
• Knowledge of travel operating systems (Travel Studio, Tourplan, or similar) is a plus.
