Job Description
The Senior Investment Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's investment activities, contributing to the analysis, evaluation, and monitoring of various investment opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and an ability to conduct thorough due diligence.
This role requires a candidate who can work hands on independently, detail-oriented, possess analytical skills, and be a proactive team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Investment Manager in identifying the investment opportunities:
- Sourcing the investment opportunities under the guidance of Investment Manager
- Collecting and analyzing the investment targets or potential projects
- Supporting in preparing the report to evaluate the investment opportunities
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth research on industries, macroeconomic trends, and specific companies to identify attractive investment themes and opportunities.
- Analyze competitive landscapes and industry dynamics.
Develop the financial model to evaluate the investment targets
Due Diligence Support:
- Assist in the comprehensive due diligence process for prospective investments, including financial, commercial, operational, and legal aspects.
- Synthesize large amounts of information from various sources to form well-reasoned investment recommendations.
Presentation & Communication:
- Prepare clear, concise, and compelling presentations and investment memoranda to present findings and recommendations.
- Support in preparing the investment reports peridocially or by projects under the supervision of Investment Manager
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 3+ years in investment banking or audit roles, or project development.
- CFA designation or progress towards CFA is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw insightful conclusions.
- Financial Modeling Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and valuation methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.1
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in all work produced.
- Proactive & Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Language: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required.
