Senior International Product Manager Monogastric

Job Title: International Product Manager

Department: Animal Nutrition

Location: Asia

Reports to: Managing director

Job Purpose

- Work closely with all the livestock/poultry business units,

with a focus on Asia. Work on global monogastric projects together with the

global Nutrition and Support team based in Asia and globally.

- Ensure nutritional excellence in livestock/poultry formulations.

- Strong understanding of market with a focus in Asia

- Ensure that best practices are shared across business units.

- Develop and maintain optimal feed assortment with focus on cost efficiently

matching customer expectations with considering commercial

demands and feed production possibilities/limitations.

- Follow market developments and adapts formulation (raw material and

nutrient constraints) or develop new products.

- Works close together with purchase department to develop more cost effective

feed with focus on new raw materials or alternative suppliers.

- Solves Customer Action Requests (CAR's) that are related to feed

composition or feed quality according product specification.

- Provide regular refreshment training about feed management and

product portfolio for specialists within De Heus.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

MSc degree or similar level through work experience

Minimum 8 years experience in feed market in Asia, with a focus

applied nutrition.

Experience

At least 8 years professional working experience with proven success at

similar position

Solid expertise experience with a strong practical experience / insight

Experience with field work and working with a team of specialists

Proven success working with people from various backgrounds

Competencies

Winner, energetic, leader, initiator, connector, communicator

High analytical skill

Customer (market) oriented with relatively high business acumen

Computer: Good knowledge about feed formulation software, DH

company programs in the field of nutritional/animal technical

performance data/OQ&QC/business programs. Average with standard

window programs like Word, Excel PowerPoint

Training, coaching and leadership skills

Ability in working independently and in team

Language(s) English, and other local language a plus.

Other Requirements

Willingness to travel domestically
