Job Description

Role Description

A. General Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies.

- Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger transactions.

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.

- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.

- Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and asset register maintenance.

- Prepare supporting schedules for audits, tax inspections, and management reporting.

- Assist in preparation of financial statements and statutory reports.

- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents and supporting records.

- Support AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and cash management activities when required.

B. Cost Accounting & Inventory Management

- Calculate and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.

- Analyze manufacturing costs and monitor cost variances.

- Review inventory transactions and ensure proper costing treatment.

- Reconcile inventory, WIP (Work in Process), and cost of goods sold accounts.

- Perform monthly inventory valuation and inventory-related reconciliations.

- Analyze production efficiencies, labor absorption, and overhead allocations.

- Prepare cost reports and profitability analysis for management.

- Support annual budgeting and standard cost roll-up processes.

- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost accuracy and operational efficiency.

C. ERP & Process Improvement (prefferable)

- Maintain accounting master data and costing-related information in ERP systems.

- Participate in ERP implementation, testing, and process improvement initiatives.

- Ensure accounting transactions are properly integrated and posted within the ERP system.

- Develop and improve accounting procedures, controls, and reporting processes.

D. Compliance & Internal Controls

- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax requirements, and internal control policies.

- Support external auditors, tax authorities, and internal audit activities.

- Assist management in implementing and monitoring financial controls.

- Identify risks and recommend process improvements to strengthen financial governance.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.

- At least 2 years handling cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience with inventory accounting, WIP, standard costing, and variance analysis.

- Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • - Fluency in English in 4 skill listening, speaking, reading and wirting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
  • Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Demonstrated integrity, adherence to ethical standards, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
