Senior Full-Stack Developer (Backend-focused)

About the Project

Join a long-term technology project in the Fintech domain, working directly with a US-based client. You will be part of an experienced engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing web-based platforms that support complex financial workflows. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will focus primarily on Backend Engineering (approximately 80%), while contributing to Frontend Development (approximately 20%). This is an opportunity to work on challenging technical problems, build scalable applications, and collaborate with international engineering teams in a dynamic technology environment.

What You'll Do

Backend Development (80%)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and web applications.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, business logic, and data processing workflows.
• Design database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and optimize database performance.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions to ensure maintainability and long-term growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, code quality, and engineering practices.

Frontend Development (20%)

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
• Build and integrate frontend components with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure frontend performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless end-to-end application experiences.

What We're Looking For

Must-have Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, with strong expertise in Backend or Full-stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), Go (Golang), etc.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and scalable web applications.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, database design, SQL, and query optimization.
• Practical experience with frontend technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Good understanding of system design, software architecture, performance optimization, and application scalability.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Good English communication skills, with the ability to participate in technical discussions and collaborate with international teams.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

• Experience building distributed systems, high-performance applications, or large-scale web platforms.
• Knowledge of concurrency, networking fundamentals, and system performance optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
