Senior Front-end Developer (React, TypeScript, English)

The role will develop React front-end applications and components integrated into an existing enterprise CMS platform (Adobe Experience Manager), across several brands. Mostly TMA/ evolutive maintenance on an existing codebase, under French onshore technical supervision.

Job Description

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Drive performance optimization through rendering strategies, code splitting, caching, and bundle management.
• Define and implement front-end architecture, state management, and reusable component systems.
• Participate in Agile development, including technical discussions, estimation, and code reviews.
• Enforce clean, testable code, strong practices in testing, CI/CD, and design patterns.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, and Backend teams to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead junior developers, provide technical guidance, and support problem-solving on complex frontend challenges.
• Contribute to technical roadmap and strategic decisions.
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• 5+ years hands-on experience with React and TypeScript: hooks, context, composition, and performance patterns.
• Solid understanding of rendering modes (CSR, SSR, SSG) and hydration, including how to diagnose and fix a hydration mismatch, and their impact on SEO, Core Web Vitals, caching, and personalization.
• Strong HTML5 and modern CSS: semantic markup, SCSS, scoped styling, responsive design, and cross-browser discipline.
• Experience with design system integration: token-based theming, reusable components, and Storybook (or equivalent).
• Bundle discipline: code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle size awareness.
• Hands-on unit and component testing with Jest or Vitest and Testing Library; familiarity with E2E testing (Playwright or Cypress).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code review processes.
• Understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG AA compliance, semantic markup, assistive technology support, and accessibility testing methodologies.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, external systems, and third-party services: validation, error handling, privacy requirements, and resilient user journeys.
• Good communication in English, written and spoken.
• Comfortable in brownfield code and TMA work: reads and understands before rewriting, favors targeted fixes, and works with hotfix and SLA discipline.
• Communication and collaboration skills: able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Micro-frontend architecture: independently deployed front-end applications while ensuring effective versioning, isolation, interoperability, and scalability.
• AEM exposure: how a CMS component embeds and configures an external front-end app, author vs publish, dispatcher caching.
• Multi-brand or multi-locale platform experience.
