Job Description
About Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee the day-to-day facilities management and operational functions within our Data Center. This role is responsible for the continuous and efficient operation of all critical infrastructure supporting a mission-critical facility. This role involves hands-on management of power, cooling, mechanical, and safety systems, ensuring 100% uptime, energy efficiency, and strict compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
I. Job Description:
- Operate and support the maintenance of critical technical infrastructure systems within the Data Center environment, including electrical systems (UPS, generators, switchboards, PDUs, and power distribution systems) and mechanical cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, HVAC, chillers, and cooling systems).
- Responsible for incident response, preventive maintenance, and operational change implementation to ensure system reliability and availability.
- Coordinate with contractors and support system enhancement initiatives to maintain stable, efficient, and continuous operation of Data Center infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related engineering fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility operation, maintenance, or engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience in either Electrical systems or Mechanical/Cooling systems.
- Familiar with critical equipment such as UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, HVAC, chillers, switchboards, and electrical distribution systems.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, PTW, LOTO, and safety practices.
- Able to work independently, support shift operation and handle emergency situations.
- Basic English communication and technical document reading skills.
Special Note
- Data Center experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidate should be willing to work in rotating shifts and support after-hours/on-call activities when required.
- Experience working with contractors/vendors is an advantage.
- Strong practical troubleshooting mindset is preferred over purely theoretical background.
