Senior Data Engineer

We're looking for a Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Fabric to build and optimize modern data platforms, including Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, and end-to-end data pipelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including designing and building Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse solutions.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark / PySpark and open table formats such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines using Medallion Architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL, Spark jobs, and data pipeline performance optimization.
• Experience with data orchestration and managing dependencies across multiple pipelines, jobs, and data layers.
• Good knowledge of Data Modeling, preferably dimensional modeling for analytical and reporting systems.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for data platforms and data pipelines.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is a plus.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BW, or SAP SLT is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on Microsoft Fabric.
• Build and optimize Data Warehouse / Data Lakehouse solutions using Fabric.
• Develop end-to-end Bronze → Silver → Gold data pipelines.
• Work with Spark, SQL, Delta Lake / Iceberg to process and transform large-scale data.
• Design orchestration and manage complex dependencies across data pipelines and processing jobs.
• Optimize SQL queries, Spark jobs, and data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Design and maintain data models supporting analytical and reporting requirements.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD for data platforms and pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Architects, and other technical teams to deliver data solutions.
