Position Objective

• Responsible for designing the overall architecture, establishing standards, and defining the development roadmap for centralized data platforms dedicated to cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, and incident response; early threat analysis and warning; data exploitation, and AI/LLM training.
• Act as the architectural focal point for shared Datalake/Big Data, Lakehouse/Data Platform, data platforms for AI/LLM, and data integration systems. These systems support centralized cybersecurity monitoring, anomaly detection, incident investigation and response, endpoint protection, network monitoring, early threat warnings, and related business needs.
  
  

Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Modeling Management

• Own and take accountability for the data models currently deployed across the organization.
• Review and approve data models prior to implementation.
• Research and propose advanced data modeling design methodologies for the organization.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and step-by-step guidelines for data modeling.
  
  

Architecture Optimization & Consulting

• Proactively identify existing issues and limitations within current data models and propose robust solutions.
• Evaluate existing data models and define long-term architectural design directions.
• Collaborate with Big Data Technologies Engineers to consult on optimal technologies for building and maintaining data models.
• Partner with business units to capture requirements and provide expert consulting on Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Lake architecture.
  
  

Advanced Research & Strategic Advisory

• Research and develop cutting-edge data models that surpass industry benchmarks, establishing proprietary technological know-how and competitive advantages.
• Stay abreast of global technology trends in Big Data and their cross-industry applications.
• Provide strategic advisory to C-level leadership upon request, aligning the unit's data roadmap with global standards and trends.
• Proactively audit architecture and data models to identify bottlenecks and implement effective resolutions.
• Mentor and train Associate, Experienced, and Senior team members on new knowledge and methodologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in practical data modeling projects for Data Lake and Data Warehouse systems, with at least 3 projects acting as a Design/Modeling Lead (demonstrating proven methodologies and strategic impact).
• Deep expertise in data warehouse design and organization frameworks (e.g., Snowflake schema, Star schema).
• Mastery of data modeling approaches following Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of data processing stream design and pipeline organization (Batch processing, Stream processing, etc.).
• Comprehensive understanding of various database paradigms (RDBMS, Graph Databases, NoSQL Products, etc.).
• Solid background in programming, data structures, and algorithms—proficient in programming languages (Java, Scala, etc.) and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on proficiency with major big data storage and processing frameworks/libraries (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Zookeeper, etc.).
• Experience with enterprise-grade databases (Oracle, Neo4j, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.).
• Fundamental knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) concepts.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and data-storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field..
