Job Description

RESPONSIBILITES:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and engage potential institutional and corporate investors for investment product sales.
  • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients and broaden the distribution network.
  • Promote and sell a diverse range of investment solutions to institutional entities such as insurance companies, corporations, intermediaries, and other large-scale investors.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers to understand their objectives and align them with the firms offerings.

Partnership & Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary liaison for institutional and corporate clients, ensuring needs are addressed and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Provide ongoing post-sale support, maintaining client satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
  • Hold regular client meetings to review portfolio performance, introduce new products, and share market updates.

Market & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the investment market, industry trends, and competing products.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure offerings meet evolving client requirements and market conditions.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate both clients and colleagues on investment products and strategies.

Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed sales objectives through a consistent pipeline of institutional and corporate prospects supported by a structured sales plan.
  • Provide regular reports on performance metrics, client engagement, and market developments to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing, investment, and compliance teams to ensure product alignment with client needs and regulatory standards.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Masters degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CFP preferred).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the asset management, wealth management, or financial services industry (fund management, securities companies, banks, and strong reputed corporates).
  • Proven experience in selling financial products (ideally mutual funds) to institutional and/or corporate clients.
  • Good communication skill in English
