Job Summary

You will own end-to-end payroll and statutory compliance for our Vietnam entity — monthly payroll, PIT declaration and annual finalization, and full SI/HI/UI processing — with accuracy and on-time filing as the non-negotiable standard. This is a specialist, autonomous role for someone who wants to go deep in Compensation & Benefits and be the single point of ownership for VN payroll integrity, not a broad generalist seat.

What You'll Own

• Payroll integrity — Run monthly VN payroll end to end (base, adjustments, bonuses, entitlements) with zero filing errors and on-time completion every cycle.
• PIT compliance — Own monthly PIT declarations and annual PIT finalization, fully compliant and on time.
• Statutory insurance — Manage SI/HI/UI processing and employee benefit claims (sickness, maternity, occupational accident, retirement) as the employer-side statutory owner.
• Regulatory reporting — Prepare and submit all required statutory reports; keep VN labor and PIT compliance current.
• Trade Union administration — Manage the mandatory 2% union fund contribution, remittance, and related reporting.
• C&B data stewardship — Maintain C&B data and employee comp records at high accuracy and full confidentiality.
• Time & attendance — Own the attendance and working-hours data that feeds payroll.
• Comp linkage to performance — Administer the compensation and bonus linkage to the performance cycle (merit, bonus calculation from ratings). You administer the comp side, not the PM process itself.
• Employee C&B advisory — Be the go-to for employee questions on payroll, tax, and benefits.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in a C&B / payroll specialist role, with independent ownership of VN payroll, PIT finalization, and statutory processing.
• Deep working knowledge of VN payroll mechanics, PIT regulations, and SI/HI/UI rules.
• Strong analytical and data-management discipline; comfortable owning accuracy without a system doing it for you.
• Working proficiency with spreadsheets for payroll modelling and reconciliation.
• Good communication in Vietnamese and English.
• Bachelor's in HR, Business, Accounting, or related.
• Trustworthy with confidential comp and personal data — discretion is the baseline.
• Self-directed owner, not a task-taker — this role runs its own workstream.
• Rigorous on accuracy and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
