Senior AI Engineer

Location: Ho Chi Minh

Salary: Upto 60M gross

Key Responsibilities

• Apply an AI-first mindset to leverage AI/LLMs for improving development efficiency, automation, decision-making, and business productivity.
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI/ML solutions for real-world applications.
• Build LLM-powered products including chatbots, copilots, AI agents, and intelligent assistants.
• Design and implement AI agent systems capable of reasoning, tool usage, and multi-step task execution.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines, including embedding, retrieval, and re-ranking, to improve response accuracy and system performance.
• Evaluate and select suitable AI models and architectures based on business requirements, accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Fine-tune and optimize AI/ML models for production-level performance and efficiency.
• Build and maintain LLM orchestration workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent technologies.
• Monitor and evaluate AI system performance using tools such as LangSmith or similar platforms, and continuously improve system quality.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products and applications through APIs and scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions and contribute to the AI product roadmap and solution architecture.
• Take ownership of assigned projects or modules, working independently from research and prototyping through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to products and internal workflows.
• Measure and demonstrate the impact of AI initiatives through metrics such as accuracy, automation rate, productivity, latency, and cost reduction.
• Lead or co-lead AI/ML initiatives, providing technical direction and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Conduct code, model, and system design reviews to ensure best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

RequirementsTechnical Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks.
• Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, and model optimization.
• Experience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to work independently across the full AI development lifecycle, from research and prototyping to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or taking ownership of AI/ML projects or modules.
• Strong AI-first mindset, with the ability to effectively use AI tools to automate workflows and improve engineering productivity.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with RAG and vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS.
• Experience developing real-world AI products, such as chatbots, virtual assistants, recommendation systems, or intelligent search.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating AI capabilities into software applications.
• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and AI workflow orchestration.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar AI frameworks and tools.
• Ability to read and apply findings from AI/ML research papers and rapidly prototype new ideas.
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead or ownership of AI solutions in production.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving technical alignment among stakeholders.
