Be responsible for project management of highly important initiatives and ensure on time delivery.
Identify and lead the resolution of technical and organizational issues.
Evaluate multiple technical solutions, balancing performance, scalability, maintainability, and cost.
Deeply understand the company-wide strategy and the requirements of products using the platform, and reflect them in the development roadmap and organizational strategy.
Collaborate with other managers to address cross-team challenges.
Conduct people management, including 1-on-1s, personal development plan creation, performance reviews.
Develop and recruit successors and next-generation leaders for the sustainable development of the company and its business.
# REQUIREMENTS
## Must-Have
Background in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Information System
7+ years of experience in software development
3+ years of experience in managing web projects or product development
Have worked as a senior Java or Ruby or Golang software engineer or higher
Experience in handling/building an engineering team (direct or indirect) of 10+ members.
Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in dealing with escalated or critical issues
Good experience in people management: employee satisfaction, career growth, performance review, coaching, mentoring, 1:1 meeting
Good experience in Agile: Methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) and practices
Strong knowledge of security and robust high-performance system
Good experience in micro-services, micro-frontend, and multi-tenant architecture design/implementation
Experience in solving complex requirements/problems both business and technology such as: Finance System, Accounting System, Banking System, Distributed System, Scalable web applications
English skills (professional working proficiency)
## Nice-to-Have
Experience in developing and operating development platforms.
Management experience with multinational engineers.
