Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Specialist / Sales Manager to drive sales growth and develop customer relationships for medical device products in the Northern Vietnam market. The position will be responsible for managing hospital accounts, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with healthcare professionals, distributors, and internal teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and business targets in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, doctors, nurses, procurement teams, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical/product training for customers when required.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including customer visits, quotation, tender/procurement processes, negotiation, and follow-up.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and business opportunities.
- Work closely with distributors and business partners to ensure effective market coverage and sales performance.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market updates, and reports to management.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, and other internal teams to support product launches and business development activities.
- For managerial level: Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Medical, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of sales experience in medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industries; experience in medical devices is preferred.
- Experience working with hospitals and healthcare professionals in Hanoi/Northern Vietnam.
- Good understanding of hospital procurement, tendering, and distributor management is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with strong ownership of sales targets and business development.
- For Sales Manager level: Proven experience in team management, sales planning, coaching, and performance management.
- Good command of English is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory when required.
