Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE

This person is in charge of handling, managing and developing designated and assigned accounts, markets or segments of Heritage Line with the objectives to improve performances. The Supervisor strategically and operationally plans and executes sales (and marketing) activities to achieve these performances with either provided target or individually set targets subject to own micro planning for his or her designated areas. The Supervisor also oversees and coordinates the activities of assigned sales team members, working closely on daily basis, offering guidance and leadership and monitors in order to achieve individual sales (activity) targets.

The person understands the portfolio of sales activities including required marketing activities to in the framework of developing the business and knows you to cascade and/or delegate these activities to him/herself and involved sales team member to maximize ROI.

The Supervisor has a good comprehension of contexts, strong organization and communication skills (verbal and written), high attention to detail and quality and able to work with multi-tasking.

TASKS / RESPONSIBILTIES

Sales BD, Strategy and Execution

Develop, plan and implement individual and team member sales activities on a forward periodic approach (quarterly) to increase occupancy (and revenue) for key markets, accounts and segment (DMC market VN, CAM, LO, TH)

Develop, plan and implement individual sales activities on a forward periodic approach (quarterly) to develop the business in assigned market of SEA (in particular SIN, HK, KOR, JP, TW), AUS and NZ with the objective to contract new accounts, generate exposure and leads and expand and drive new business for wholesale and retail resellers

Conduct independently thorough market research and acquire the knowledge to work with new markets to identify potential new accounts

Analyze different sales data to identify areas for action

Pro-actively generate and produce creative ideas for campaigns for above markets, segments and individual accounts to continuously develop and penetrate the market and generate leads

Plans and rolls our various sales activities including sales calls, e-meetings, webinars, campaigns etc with a clear objective and estimated ROI.

Achieve monthly set quantity sales targets on a meaningfully approach which contribute to the overall business performance (product, relationship, business development)

Account Management

Looks after key and top accounts in a multi-layer way relationship building, training and business develop business

Looks after new accounts to develop them with pro-active, smart and non-intrusive relationship management approach

Analyses performance of dedicated markets / segment in order to take actions when required.

Ensure account satisfaction on a pro-active basis

Look operationally after group and charter business of new and existing accounts

Team Management

Supervise and coach sales representatives strategically and on daily basis.

Set and assign team activities with objectives factoring in periodic (monthly) corporate objectives

Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to HOD

Motivate and inspire the team to achieve targets.

Collect monthly reports and consolidated into a team report

Reporting

Add any relevant activity to the CRM (App 500) system with details

Measure all activities under the BD and Account management with clear target and ROI metrics and include on monthly basis

Weekly reports on assignment

Monthly individual and team reports

adhoc reports (if any)

Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for continual improvement across Sales

Attend training courses / event (if required) to keep up to date with the industry and global trends

Keep others informed by sharing information

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE

Tertiary studies in Business, Economics, Tourism, Hospitality,

Knowledge of sales and marketing strategy, international market and businesses, foreign cultures

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years working experience in the area of sales or business development (tourism or hospitality preferred)

Has a sales mind; analytical, conceptual, highly organized, pro-active, decisive, pro-active, eager

Able to understand multi-layer contexts when working with markets and segment

Knows sales techniques and processes to plan sales activity conceptually

Knows how to weave in marketing in the sales process

SKILLS

A good understanding and knowledge of luxury in the context of tourism products and tourism segment

Very good Written and spoken Vietnamese & English.

Very Good - MS Office

Very good in planning and organization

A good team worker with an open personality
