Job Description

• Participate in the development and maintenance of products and systems for clients in the banking and finance industry.
• Analyze business requirements, design technical solutions, and implement features using Ruby on Rails.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure overall product quality.
• Work directly with a global team, including BAs, PMs, QAs, and overseas developers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate, provide project updates, and resolve technical issues in English within an international working environment.

Requirements

• PreSenior-level experience with strong hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails application development.
• 3.5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails application development.
• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and software design patterns.
• Proven experience working on projects in the banking/finance industry.
• Conversational English skills sufficient for direct communication with clients and global team members.
• Experience working with global teams and/or international projects.
• Proactive, agile, eager to learn, and highly responsible.
• Willing to work onsite in Ho Chi Minh City and commit to a long-term project engagement (1–2 years)

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in performance optimization and security for financial systems.
