Risk Modelling Analyst

EmbedIT is the Vietnamese engineering arm of a Czech fintech group (PPF Group), building and operating systems for financial services, data platforms, mobile applications, and core banking.

Sitting between collections operations, business logic, and the technical platform, You will design and review the collection strategies that run across the Group's consumer-finance markets in Europe and Asia, modelling them in UML and turning business rules into clean, executable system configuration. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Czech Republic, in a standard business-hours setup with no on-call.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review collection strategies and workflows using UML/strategy modelling (Astah).
• Review configuration and parameterization changes and flag conditions that are not correct, keeping setups consistent across the Group.
• Own and improve the collections system change-management process.
• Support Group companies with collections system setup, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide 2nd-line support for configuration issues during standard business hours.
• Write and adjust SQL / PL/SQL and Python scripts for predictors and internal decisioning.
• Train local teams and share best practices with collections users across markets.
• Collaborate with operational, business, and technical stakeholders across multiple countries.

Your Experience and Skills

• Hands-on experience with UML process and strategy modelling in any modelling tool - Astah specifically is a plus, not a requirement.
• Able to read and understand system logic and spot incorrect configuration or parameterization.
• Solid SQL skills and comfort validating and working with data.
• Structured, analytical mindset, comfortable across both technical and business environments.
• Fluent English — you will work daily with colleagues across countries and in the Czech Republic.

Nice to have

• Experience in collections, credit risk, or collections operations.
• Collection systems such as Tallyman or Experian, or PL/SQL.
• Python for scripting predictors and decisioning.
• Git, Docker, Jira, and XML.
