Retail Acquisition Executive - Singapore SBS Business Development

- Develop and execute the sourcing strategy to identify, qualify, and onboard new FMCG suppliers that align with business objectives and assortment growth plans.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, MOQs, contractual terms, and partnership agreements.
- Conduct market and supplier landscape analysis to uncover high-potential brands and assess opportunity size.
- Evaluate supplier SKU portfolios to prioritize sourcing efforts and inform commercial decisions.
- Manage end-to-end supplier onboarding and international trade processes, including shipping, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all products meet local import regulations, labeling requirements, certifications, and food safety standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, operations, legal, and category management, to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Prior experience in retail acquisition, sourcing, procurement, or category management within the FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs regulations, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to analyze costs, margins, and commercial viability.
- Experience leveraging market or data insights to inform sourcing and assortment strategies.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
