Remote Vietnamese Research Analyst

The Remote Vietnamese Research Analyst is responsible for performing primary research and secondary research on a wide range of topics across various sectors in South-East Asia (especially in Vietnam), including insurance, advanced industries, agriculture, automotive, banking & insurance, basic materials, chemical, consumer goods, e-commerce, infrastructure, oil & gas, sustainability, and TMT.

1. Understand research requirements and formulate actionable research approaches

2. Drive client discussions on scope alignment, timeline planning and feedback

3. Identify and gather relevant company, industry, and macro-economic information using a broad spectrum of appropriate sources – including press search, databases, cold call, etc.

4. Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information using both qualitative and quantitative methods

5. Deliver accurate, insightful research findings to clients as per the committed timelines

6. Develop and manage knowledge subjects in a range of industry and functional areas for self-upskilling and team sharing

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above

2. 2-4 years of full-time working experience; Insurance Industries is preferred; exposure to market research / consulting / general professional services industry is preferred

3. Solid communication and coordination skills in both English and Vietnamese. Able to write findings professionally and concisely in the relevant languages

4. Strong analytical skills with a focus on business issues; good commercial sense

5. Ability to learn and deliver in a fast-paced work environment, having a sense of urgency.

6. Extremely high attention to details; putting highest priority on accuracy and quality

7. Self-driven; high sense of responsibility

8. Knowledge of MS Office tools
