Job Description

Job Requirements

  • Develop and implement cosmetic product research and development strategies aligned with market trends and brand orientation.
  • Manage the entire R&D process, from formula research, testing, and stability evaluation to production technology transfer.
  • Identify and collaborate with research partners (research institutes, universities, raw material suppliers) domestically and internationally to develop new formulas and technologies.
  • Direct and lead the R&D team in creating innovative products that meet quality standards (CGMP, ISO 22716) and regulatory requirements.
  • Present and communicate product ideas, research results, and innovations to the Board of Directors, marketing team, and partners to shape business strategies.
  • Work closely with the procurement department to select suitable raw materials (chemicals, natural extracts, essential oils) and packaging for product formulas.
  • Monitor cosmetic industry trends (organic ingredients, biotechnology, sustainable products) to propose product improvement solutions.
  • Manage R&D budgets, personnel, and project timelines to ensure on-time delivery and quality objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to product registration, safety testing, and international standards.
  • Train and develop the R&D team, fostering a culture of creativity and effective management within the department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Science, or other top-tier universities.
  • Minimum 35 years of experience in cosmetic R&D; candidates with experience in managing teams or product development projects are preferred.
  • Strong management capabilities, including planning, project management, resource allocation, and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to identify and collaborate with research partners and raw material suppliers.
  • Excellent presentation and strategic orientation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive ideas to executives and partners.
  • Creative mindset, strong market trend awareness, and ability to work under high pressure.
  • Knowledge of cosmetic product registration regulations and safety standards is an advantage.
