QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS) – F&B PROJECTS | MESA GROUP

Mesa Group is looking for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our Project Department and support the delivery of F&B projects across the Group.

We are looking for candidates with experience in Quantity Surveying, particularly in F&B, retail, fit-out, renovation, or chain store/restaurant projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage project quantities, costs, and payment/settlement documentation for F&B projects.

• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quantity take-offs based on drawings, design documents, and project requirements.

• Review and evaluate quotations from contractors and suppliers.

• Monitor actual work quantities, site progress, and completed works for measurement and payment purposes.

• Review variation orders and additional works, assess their cost impact, and ensure proper documentation and approval.

• Coordinate with Project, Design, Engineering, Procurement, Finance & Accounting teams, as well as contractors and suppliers, to ensure effective project cost control.

• Monitor project budgets and prepare regular reports on quantities, costs, variations, and payment status.

• Support the preparation and review of project handover, final account, and settlement documents.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager/Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Economics, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Cost Engineer, Estimator, or in a similar position.

• Experience in F&B projects is highly preferred, particularly in restaurant/store fit-out, renovation, new store opening, or chain development projects.

• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, BOQ, cost estimation, measurement, payment, settlement, and project cost control.

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.

• Good command of Microsoft Excel and other relevant project/cost management tools.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with good attention to detail.

• Good communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.

• Proactive, responsible, organized, and able to manage deadlines effectively.

WORKING INFORMATION

Location: 202 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Nhieu Loc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly District 3)

Working hours: Monday to Saturday morning

8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Lunch break: 1.5 hours
